The Saint Petersburg Lacrosse Club was organized in 2003 as a 100% volunteer non-profit organization who's focus is to promote leadership, sportsmanship, and comradery in the fast growing sport of lacrosse. The club currently offers programs at the Recreation (K-4th), Youth (5th & 6th), Middle School (7th & 8th), and High School (9th-12th) levels.

Currently, lacrosse is the fastest growing sport on a national scale, with Florida being at the top of the list. Our program in Saint Petersburg is complimentary to the other programs located in North Tampa, South Tampa, Clearwater, Sarasota, and other outlying areas. We have high level coaches with vast knowledge and a passion for the game.

Our organization is affliated with the US Lacrosse Association (The National Governing Body of Lacrosse) and is a registered member of the Florida Gulf Coast Chapter.

LACROSSE SEASONS

• Fall Lacrosse - We hold our annual Fall Clinics for new players. Time and Date will be December 2020. These clinics are provided so kids can try the sport prior to signing up for the Spring Season. If your son or daughter likes the sport and decides to play in the Spring, then it probably makes sense to get them lacrosse equipment as holiday present, Just an idea. In the Fall we also have our tournament teams and they are created based upon interest.
• Spring Lacrosse (Main Season) - In the Spring we start our developmental league, where we play teams from the local Tampa Bay area. Our teams practice during the week and usually have home and away games on Saturdays with travel no more than 45-50 minutes within the greater Tampa Bay area (Clearwater, South Tampa, North Tampa, Lakewood Ranch, etc.)
• Summer Lacrosse - In Summer we have a Summer Tournament Season. Our tournament teams and they are created based upon interest. We do not normally play lacrosse past the beginning of June, since it is too hot, though many kids do Summer lacrosse camps.

• November/December: Fall Tournament Teams (2 Months) - Optional: Experienced Players

• January-End of April: Spring Developmental League (4 Months) - Recommended: This is our Main Season

• May-Early June: Summer Tournament Teams (2 Months) - Optional: Experienced Players

• Mid-June - July: Summer Lacrosse Camps (2 Months) - Recommended: New and Experienced Players
